Indore is the commercial and industrial capital of Madhya Pradesh. It is well known for its culture and its cleanliness. It is the only city in India which consists of both Indian Institute of Management and Indian Institute of Technology; therefore it is also called as education hub of central India. In the year 2017, Indore was ranked at first position as India’s cleanest city in Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan and since then it has maintain its position and has been ranked as cleanest city for four consecutive years. It is able to manage its waste sustainably by considering the 3R (reduce , reuse, recycle).
The main thing for which Indore is fomous is food and cuisine. The two of the most famous street food places are chappan dukaan and saraafa bazaar. It is also known for the religious places.
Khajraana Ganesh Temple is a historic temple known for its religious significance. It is always crowded as tourists who visit Indore, visits the temple. It is known as one of the richest and religious temple in the state. Known for its peaceful and divine environment, this temple is one of the main attractions of the city.
Chappan Dukkan is famous for it's street style foos . In the beginning there were 56 shops after which the name chappan Dukkan was kept the name you will found every variety of food here at a very reasonable price, Recently government has modified the place and developed it into a proper food destination for tourists as well as for locals
Rajawada is a historical palace in Indore which was built by Maratha dynasty and it is one of the oldest palaces . Near the royal Rajwada Palace , there is a huge street market which consist of several different types of items at very low price . At night , the market turns into sarafa bazaar which is famous for its food and is opened till early morning
Kanch Mandir in Indore is a temple made up of glass and mirrors . Kanch Mandir belongs to Jainism community and their festival is celebrated here with full enthusiasm. For its unique way and its beautiful designs this temple is visited by tourists . It is entirely covered by class and mirrors from both inside and outside and also on walls and floors .
